This Privacy Policy applies to the VEILA iOS app.
VEILA contains three interactive worlds: MIRROR, ICE, and NIGHT. MIRROR uses the iPhone front camera to provide a live fogged-mirror experience. ICE provides an interactive ice surface. NIGHT provides interactive real-star maps.
The VEILA app does not collect personal data, account information, device identifiers, usage data, analytics data, advertising data, or camera content.
VEILA does not require an account or login.
VEILA requests camera access only when you first enter MIRROR.
The live camera image is processed locally on your device. VEILA does not capture, record, store, transmit, upload, or share photos, videos, or camera images.
ICE and NIGHT do not use the camera.
You can decline camera access. You can also revoke camera access at any time in iPhone Settings under Privacy & Security > Camera. Revoking access prevents MIRROR from displaying the live camera image but does not require you to remove the app.
VEILA does not use analytics, advertising, tracking, profiling, the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), or App Tracking Transparency for tracking purposes.
The VEILA app does not include third-party SDKs or services that collect user data.
VEILA does not sell, rent, disclose, or share user data with third parties because the app does not collect such data.
VEILA does not collect or transmit personal data to a server. Therefore, VEILA has no server-side user data or account data to retain or delete.
Data stored locally by the app, if any, remains under the control of the device and is removed with the app according to normal iOS behavior.
If you contact VEILA by email, the email address, message, and any information you voluntarily include will be used only to respond to your request. You may request deletion of that support correspondence by contacting the same address.
This Privacy Policy may be updated if VEILA’s features or data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
